The Walker (Thanks Francom's)

I Love Bryce's walker that our friends the Francom's gave us. He will just walk around the house for hours and let me do what I need to. It is wonderful. I am impressed at how quickly he has picked it up and his walking is much faster. It is amazing how children are always picking things up so fast.

Hazzah (The Renaissance Festival)

Jason has never been to a Renaissance festival and I had found coupon for $16 dollars off, so we decided to go. We had a great time. Jason hit rang the bell on hammer game, I hit a target with a bow and arrow, Bryce laughed at the juggler, we saw a sword swallower who swalled a long balloon that was filled with air and never pulled it out. He just left it in there, I am still trying to figure out what end that will come out of. We took some pictures and I hope it shows the good time we had. There were several people in costumes, not necesarily renaissance costumes, but funny interesting none the less. Jason said that if Bryce ever wanted to dress up for one of these that he would dress up with him, I might bride Bryce into it, just to make fun of Jason. :)

Selling a Home

All last week I had one project after another to try and revamp our house so that people would be interested. I got them all done and our realator said the house looks great. So now I am looking at my home which I swept and vaccumed this morning and looking at my cell, wondering people are going to come and see it. I feel like I am going crazy. Every time the phone rings I am hoping it is an offer. I pray that we get one soon, I hate feeling like I am walking on pins and needles.

My Website is Up

So the last two months have been insane, I am sorry that it has taken me this long to write again. I have finally finished the projects on our house to try and get it to sell. We will be closing on our new house October 29. I am really excited that my photography website is now up and running. There are still things that I am working on,but it is up. It would be great5 if you guys wouldn't mind adding the site as your favorite links, because that is how google shows sites, in order of popularity and on other pages that it is referenced. Busy 4th of July

It seems like everything has happened this weekend and it isn't even Saturday yet. Yesterday, my Sister-in-law Amy and I had a photo shoot (We are also in business together, sort of) the shoot went great. My friends Rodrigo and Wendy Jimenez did a bunch of dance and couples shots for us that are going to be great. I am pleased that I am having my own work to put up on our site, that is slowly being made. While this went on, Our house was shown twice and Jason took care of Bryce and the dogs. Today we were woken up with a big cold from Bryce, he has been couging and sneezing all day, I feel so bad for the guy. We went to Best Buy and I got a work laptop and equipment and it is awesome I LOVE it. Jason has been really great with helping me out. The best part of this weekend has to be that my friends the Chaunterbury's let me take pictures of their daughter Asha with her Mom and they let me have four of Bobby's photography lens' and we worked out a deal for me to slowly pay for them. This is such a blessing, I now have all of the equipment I need. I am Jazzed. Here are 2 pictures from yesterday of Bobby and Kristen, they are not finished being edited yet. Sign Language Fun

Last August, Jason and I baby-sat a 18 month old who had been taught sign language, it was great. He told us what he wanted, thank you, eat, dring and when he wanted to sleep. We decided then that we wanted to use sign language with our kids because it saves us from a lot of crying. It has come that time that we are teaching, Bryce is already responding to the sign for Hi, but I feel silly making these jestures and signs in public, I get several interesting looks when I do this. Besides Bryce learning, it seems that our dogs are learning as well, they keep trying to do different things when I talk to Bryce, maybe dogs are like monkeys and if they had apposable thumbs they could sign too. That thought gave me a good chuckle, so I thought I would share.

Why can't photoshop be easy?

I decided to purchase a Photoshop for dummies book, to help me out. I was just trying to figure out how to remove a shadow and I got a headache from trying to find that in the book. I was hoping I would be able to use it as a desk reference, but I think I will have to read the whole thing. I did learn how to use my Nikon software to start editing pictures, which is a big feat. I am pretty content with what I learned. This picture of Evie is only partialy finished, but I wanted to show what I have done so far. I LOVE photography and can't wait to put more focus into it.

Today Bryce and I went to the pool with my Sister, her daughter and the little boy she baby-sits. Bryce has been showing an interest in drinks and real people food lately and today he was after my diet coke, it was really funny and pathetic. He is so much fun, but it is all going too fast.
